Episode Summary

On 12 November 1976, 36 year old Renee MacRae and her three year old son, Andrew, left Inverness for a trip to visit Renee’s sister. About 10pm that evening Renee’s car was discovered ablaze in a lay-by 12 miles outside of Inverness, Renee and Andrew had vanished. Despite many years of searching Renee and Andrew have never been found, and the case had remained unsolved. That is until 2019.
